Advocacy & Government Relations Officer
Arvin Baradaran-Rajabzadeh
Arvin is driven by a commitment to creating meaningful change and delivering tangible results for students, young people, and Ontarians. With several years of experience in federal politics, he brings a strong background in communications, outreach, and government relations to the Ontario Student Voices team. Arvin firmly believes that thoughtful, constructive public policy can meaningfully improve people’s lives, and that lasting change is achieved through effective organization, clear communication, and coordinated advocacy.
Through his work with federal Members of Parliament, Arvin has seen firsthand how strategic advocacy, outreach, and campaign efforts can translate into concrete government action. He understands that when communities are informed, engaged, and mobilized, their concerns can move beyond consultation and actively shape legislation and public policy.
Arvin also holds a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours Specialization in Political Science from York University in Toronto. His involvement in politics began early, volunteering on political campaigns from the age of 14, motivated by a desire to advocate for a stronger province and country for youth, families, and working people.
Arvin is excited to join OSV and collaborate with student leaders, organizations, and unions across Ontario, to advocate for college and polytechnic students and help deliver meaningful results at the provincial level. He brings the same enthusiasm and professionalism that helped support successful election campaigns and translate constituent concerns into meaningful engagement with federal ministries to the Ontario Student Voices team.
